Chapter 155 | Lack of Virtue in Woman
2- عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْجَلابِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لامْرَأَةِ سَعْدٍ هَنِيئاً لَكِ يَا خَنْسَاءُ فَلَوْ لَمْ يُعْطِكِ اللهُ شَيْئاً إِلا ابْنَتَكِ أُمَّ الْحُسَيْنِ لَقَدْ أَعْطَاكِ اللهُ خَيْراً كَثِيراً إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمَرْأَةِ الصَّالِحَةِ فِي النِّسَاءِ كَمَثَلِ الْغُرَابِ الأعْصَمِ فِي الْغِرْبَانِ وَهُوَ الأبْيَضُ إِحْدَى الرِّجْلَيْنِ.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from Sa‘d ibn abu “Amr al-Jallab who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , once said to the wife of Sa‘d, ‘How fortunate it is for you O Khansa’, if Allah will not give you anything else besides your daughter, mother of al-Husayn; still Allah has given you a great deal of good. The case of a virtuous woman among women is like an al- A‘sam crow among the crows. It is the one which has one white leg.’”
