Chapter 156 | Disciplinants for Women
2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from his uncle Ya’qub ibn Salim in a marfu’ manner who has said the following: “‘Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘You must not teach your women chapter twelve of the Quran and do not read it for them; in it there is sedition, instead teach them Chapter twenty-four of the Quran because in it there are exhortations.’”
Gradings are classical jarḥ-wa-taʿdīl, name-matched to a rijāl index (not individually re-verified).
