The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 1969 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فَقَالَ لا إِلا عَجُوزٌ عَلَيْهَا مَنْقَلاهَا يَعْنِي الْخُفَّيْنِ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Marwan ibn Muslim from Muhammad ibn Shurayh who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘ Abd Allah , about women’s going out for the two ‘Id. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, except old women wearing their pairs of shoes.’” (Consult Fatwah about this hadith)
