The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 2072 (#Ḥadīth #45)

45- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا زَنَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا الرَّجُلُ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلا صَدَاقَ لَهَا لأنَّ الْحَدَثَ كَانَ مِنْ قِبَلِهَا.

45. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that about the case of a woman who had committed fornication with a man before he went to bed ’Amir al-Mu’minin , said, ‘They must be separated from each other and she did not deserve any mahr (dower) because the incident was from her side.’”
