The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 498 (#Ḥadīth #12)

12- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ السَّوْمِ مَا بَيْنَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ.

12. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Ali ibn Asbat in a marfu’ manner’ has the following: “He (the Imam) has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, prohibited bargaining between dawn and sunrise.”
