Chapter 54 | Etiquettes of Doing Business

23- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ مَنِ اتَّجَرَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ارْتَطَمَ فِي الرِّبَا ثُمَّ ارْتَطَمَ قَالَ وَكَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَقُولُ لا يَقْعُدَنَّ فِي السُّوقِ إِلا مَنْ يَعْقِلُ الشِّرَاءَ وَالْبَيْعَ.

23. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘If one does business without knowledge, he plunges in Riba ’ again and again.’ Amir al-Mu’minin , would also say, ‘One who does not understand buying and selling must not sit in the market place for doing business.’”
