Chapter 98 | If the Slave Asks his Master to Sell him or Stipulates to Give him Something
2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from Fudayl who has said the following: “A Sindiy slave once said to abu ‘Abd Allah , ‘I said to my master, “Sell me for seven hundred dirham, I pay you three hundred dirham.’” Abu ‘Abd Allah , said, ‘If you owned something on the day you made the condition then you must pay, and if you did not have anything on that day there is nothing on you.’”
