The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 893 (#Ḥadīth #1)

1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقَصَّارِ يُفْسِدُ قَالَ كُلُّ أَجِيرٍ يُعْطَى الأجْرَ عَلَى أَنْ يُصْلِحَ فَيُفْسِدُ فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Once abu ‘ Abd Allah , was asked about a cleaner who destroyed. He (the Imam) said, ’Everyone hired and paid for mending an item is liable if the item is destroyed.”’
