The Sufficient (Vol 5) · Hadith 913 (#Ḥadīth #4)

4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ دَنَانِيرُ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ قِيمَتَهَا دَرَاهِمَ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah , about the case of a man who owed dinars. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful if he takes its price in the form of dirhams . 555
