The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1016 (#Ḥadīth #6)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ أَجِبْ فِي الْوَلِيمَةِ وَ الْخِتَانِ وَ لَا تُجِبْ فِي خَفْضِ الْجَوَارِي .

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Accept an invitation for a wedding and circumcision; but do not accept for Khafd (lowering) girls.’”
