The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1049 (#Ḥadīth #2)

أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ السَّيَّارِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكَرْخِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ بَلْدَةً فَهُوَ ضَيْفٌ عَلَى مَنْ بِهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ دِينِهِ حَتَّى يَرْحَلَ عَنْهُمْ .

2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from al-Sayyariy from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Karkhiy from a man who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “When a man enters a town he is the guest of those who live there of the people of his religion until he leaves that town.’”
