Chapter 40 | Eating with the Guest
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا أَكَلَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ طَعَاماً كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ وَ آخِرَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُهَا لِيَأْكُلَ الْقَوْمُ .
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal f, ibn al-Qaddah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, when eating food with a people would, as the first one, begin eating and be the last to stop it, so that the people complete eating.’”
