Chapter 41 | The Child of Adam is Hollow; thus He must Eat Food

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ حِكَايَةً عَنْ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) رَبِّ إِنِّي لِما أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ فَقَالَ سَأَلَ الطَّعَامَ .

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “About the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, quoting Musa , ‘My Lord, I am in great need of the good things You have sent to me...’ (27:24) Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘He (Moses) asked for food.’”
