The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1163 (#Ḥadīth #9)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ السَّيَّارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ أُدْمٌ قَطَعَ الْخُبْزَ بِالسِّكِّينِ .

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Sayyariy from abu Ali ibn Rashid in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that when ’Amir al-Mu’minin did not have curry; he would cut the bread with a knife.’”
