Chapter 53 | Kinds of Sawiq (roasted flour) and the Excellence of Sawiq of Wheat
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ السَّوِيقُ يَجْرُدُ الْمِرَّةَ وَ الْبَلْغَمَ مِنَ الْمَعِدَةِ جَرْداً وَ يَدْفَعُ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ .
11. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Musa ibn al-Qasim from Yahya ibn Musawir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, sawiq removes bitterness (bile) and phlegm from the stomach and dispels seventy kinds of illness.’”
