Chapter 56 | One who Does not Eat Meat for Forty Days his Manners Change
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ اللَّحْمُ يُنْبِتُ اللَّحْمَ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ اللَّحْمَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً سَاءَ خُلُقُهُ وَ مَنْ سَاءَ خُلُقُهُ فَأَذِّنُوا فِي أُذُنِهِ .
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said, ‘Meat grows meat and one who does not eat meat for forty days his manners change to worse, you must say Adhan in the ears of one whose manners change to worse.’”
