The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1205 (#Ḥadīth #1)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ أَبِي الْوَرْدِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ شَكَوْا إِلَى مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) مَا يَلْقَوْنَ مِنَ الْبَيَاضِ فَشَكَا ذَلِكَ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَيْهِ مُرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا لَحْمَ الْبَقَرِ بِالسِّلْقِ .

Muhammad ibn Yahya Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy, from Sulayman ibn ‘Abbad, from ‘Isa ibn abu af-Ward from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said that the Israelites complained before Musa , against illness of whiteness (albinism) and he (Moses) complained before Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, and Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, sent him revelation that said, ’Command them to eat cow meat with (white) beets.”’
