The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1218 (#Ḥadīth #5)

عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ قَالَ تَغَدَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَتَى بِقَطَاةٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُبَارَكٌ وَ كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يُعْجِبُهُ وَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَنْ يُطْعَمَ صَاحِبُ الْيَرَقَانِ يُشْوَى لَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْفَعُهُ .

5. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn Mahziyar from who has said the following: “I once had lunch with abu Ja’far , and sand grouse was brought. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is blessed; my father liked it and would instruct to feed roasted to one who suffers from jaundice; it benefits him.’”
