The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1242 (#Ḥadīth #8)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) الْأَلْوَانُ يُعَظِّمْنَ الْبَطْنَ وَ يُخَدِّرْنَ الْأَلْيَتَيْنِ .

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: ’Amir al-Mu’minin , has said, ‘Eating many kinds of foods at the same time enlarges the belly and numbs the buttocks.’”
