Chapter 68 | Roast, al-Kabab and Heads

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Ali ibn al-Rayyan ibn al-Salt from ‘Ubayd Allah ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Wasitiy from Wasil ibn Sulayman from Durust who has said the following: “We once mentioned heads of sheep before abu ‘Abd Allah , and he (the Imam) said, ‘The head is the place of slaughtering (intelligence), close to means for grazing and far from harms.’”
