Chapter 75 | Eggs and Chicken
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسْنَةَ الْجَمَّالِ قَالَ شَكَوْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قِلَّةَ الْوَلَدِ فَقَالَ لِي اسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ وَ كُلِ الْبَيْضَ بِالْبَصَلِ .
2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from ‘Umar ibn abu Hasnah al-Jammal who has said the following: “I once complained before abu al-Hassan , about not having any children. He (the Imam) said, ‘Ask forgiveness from Allah and eat eggs with onion.”’
