Chapter 77 | The Vinegar and Oil
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَصْبَاغِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْخَلُّ وَ الزَّيْتُ وَ قَالَ هُوَ طَعَامُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ( عليهم السلام ) .
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘The best of dishes to the Messenger of Allah was vinegar and oil and he would say it was the food of the Prophets ‘Alayhim al-Salam.’”
