The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1339 (#Ḥadīth #4)

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) أَوْ قَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ السُّكَّرُ الطَّبَرْزَدُ يَأْكُلُ الْبَلْغَمَ أَكْلًا .

4. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Sahl from al-Rida’ , or certain persons of our people from al-Rida’ who has said the following: “Al-Rida’ , has said, the sugar which is chipped with a hammer eats away (abolishes) phlegm entirely.’”
