The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1381 (#Ḥadīth #4)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ نِعْمَ الطَّعَامُ الْأَرُزُّ وَ إِنَّا لَنَدَّخِرُهُ لِمَرْضَانَا .

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from those who narrated to him who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Rice is very good food and we preserve it for our people who suffer from illnesses.’”
