Chapter 92 | The Chickpea (Garbanzo Bean)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَادِرٍ الْخَادِمِ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَأْكُلُ الْحِمِّصَ الْمَطْبُوخَ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Nadir al-Khadim who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , would eat cooked chickpeas before and after food.’”
