The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1395 (#Ḥadīth #3)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ كُلُوا الْبَاقِلَّى بِقِشْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَدْبُغُ الْمَعِدَةَ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah who has said the following: “I once, heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘Eat broad beans with its peels. It cleanses (tans) the stomach.’”
