3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from Fadalah ibn from ‘Umar ibn Aban al- Kalbiy who has said the following: “I once heard abu Ja‘far, and abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, saying, ‘No other fruit on earth was as much desirable to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, as pomegranate and by Allah he (the Messenger of Allah) liked not to share it with anyone.’”
