Chapter 101 | The Pomegranate
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كُلُوا الرُّمَّانَ الْمُزَّ بِشَحْمِهِ فَإِنَّهُ دِبَاغٌ لِلْمَعِدَةِ .
13. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ariy from ibn al-Qaddah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Eat sour-sweet pomegranate with its flesh; it tans (cleanses) the stomach.’”
