The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1465 (#Ḥadīth #3)

الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ سَفَرْجَلَةً عَلَى الرِّيقِ طَابَ مَاؤُهُ وَ حَسُنَ وَلَدُهُ .

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘If one eats quince before breakfast his seed becomes fine and his child well-formed.’”
