Chapter 108 | The Bananas

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُوسَى الصَّنْعَانِيِّ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) بِمِنًى وَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي ( عليه السلام ) عَلَى فَخِذِهِ وَ هُوَ يُقَشِّرُ لَهُ مَوْزاً وَ يُطْعِمُهُ .

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from Muhammad Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Yahya ibn Musa, San’aniy who has said the following: “I once visited abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , in Mina and abu Ja‘far, al-Thaniy was in his lap. He (the Imam) peeled banana and fed him (abu Ja‘far, al-Thaniy).”’
