The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1492 (#Ḥadīth #2)

عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكْثُرَ مَاؤُهُ وَ وُلْدُهُ فَلْيُدْمِنْ أَكْلَ الْهِنْدَبَاءِ .

2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Khalid ibn Muhammad from his grandfather, Sufyan ibn al-Simt who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah , has said, ’If one likes to increase his seed and children he should eat endives very often.’”
