Chapter 120 | The Watercress
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْبَقْلِ الْهِنْدَبَاءِ وَ الْبَاذَرُوجِ وَ الْجِرْجِيرِ فَقَالَ الْهِنْدَبَاءُ وَ وَ الْبَاذَرُوجُ لَنَا وَ الْجِرْجِيرُ لِبَنِي أُمَيَّةَ .
3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Musa ibn al-Hassan from Ahmad ibn Sulayman from his father from abu Basir who has said the following: “Once, a man asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about endives, sweet basil and watercress. He (the Imam) said, ‘Endives and sweet basil are for us and watercress is for banu ’Umayyah.’”
