The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1540 (#Ḥadīth #2)

عَنْهُ عَنِ السَّيَّارِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ دُرُسْتَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ الْفُجْلُ أَصْلُهُ يَقْطَعُ الْبَلْغَمَ وَ لُبُّهُ يَهْضِمُ وَ وَرَقُهُ يَحْدِرُ الْبَوْلَ حَدْراً .

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from al-Sayyariy from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ibn al- Mubarak from abu ‘ Uthman from Durust who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘The essence, roots of radish cuts off phlegm, its core helps digest food and its leaves quicken urine fast.’”
