The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1542 (#Ḥadīth #2)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْجَلَّابِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْجَزَرُ أَمَانٌ مِنَ الْقُولَنْجِ وَ الْبَوَاسِيرِ وَ يُعِينُ عَلَى الْجِمَاعِ .

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Jallab from Musa ibn ’Isma‘il from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ’Carrot is protection against colic pain, hemorrhoid, and helps in going to bed with one’s wife.’”
