Chapter 126 | The Turnip

عَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّلْجَمِ فَكُلُوهُ وَ أَدِيمُوا أَكْلَهُ وَ اكْتُمُوهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَهْلِهِ فَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَ بِهِ عِرْقٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ فَأَذِيبُوهُ بِأَكْلِهِ .

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn Sinan from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘You must eat turnips and continue to do so. You must keep it a secret except from its people; all people have a vein of leprosy so you must dissolve it with turnips.’”
