Chapter 128 | The Eggplant (Aubergine)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ كُلُوا الْبَاذَنْجَانَ فَإِنَّهُ يُذْهِبُ الدَّاءَ وَ لَا دَاءَ لَهُ .

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘ Abd Allah ibn Ali ibn ‘Amir from Ibrahim ibn al-Fadl from Ja‘far ibn Yahya from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Eat eggplant because it removes illnesses and does not cause any illness/”
