Chapter 129 | The Onions
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْبَصَلُ يَذْهَبُ بِالنَّصَبِ وَ يَشُدُّ الْعَصَبَ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخُطَى وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الْمَاءِ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالْحُمَّى .
2. Abu Ah al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn abu al-Nadr from ‘Amr ibn Shamir from Jabir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Onion removes illness, strengthens nerves, increases the ability to walk, increases one’s seed and removes fever.’”
