Chapter 3 | Drinking Water Excessively
2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Sa‘id ibn Junah from Ahmad ibn ‘Umar al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , when giving advice to a man said, ‘Reduce drinking water; it may stretch all illness and refrain from taking medicine as long as your body can take the pain.’”
