The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1601 (#Ḥadīth #3)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَامَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِلَى إِدَاوَةٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهَا وَ هُوَ قَائِمٌ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Ali from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Hashim [from abu Hashim] ibn Yahya al-Mada’iniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin went to the water container and drank water standing.’”
