The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1628 (#Ḥadīth #2)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) اشْرَبُوا مَاءَ السَّمَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ يُطَهِّرُ الْبَدَنَ وَ يَدْفَعُ الْأَسْقَامَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ يُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهِ وَ يُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطانِ وَ لِيَرْبِطَ عَلى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَ يُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدامَ .

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has stated this Hadith. ‘’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘You should drink of the water of the sky, it cleanses the body and removes illnesses as Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has said, “He sends water from the sky to cleanse you with it and remove the filth of Satan from you and to make your hearts firmly related and to make you steadfast.” (8:11)’”
