The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1699 (#Ḥadīth #4)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ .

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘A wine addict will meet Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, when he meets Him, as a worshipper of idols will do.’”
