عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ وَ مَا الْمُدْمِنُ قَالَ الَّذِي إِذَا وَجَدَهَا شَرِبَهَا .
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from Hammad from abu af-Jarud who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘ Abd Allah , saying, ‘My father narrated to me from his father , that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘A wine addict is like an idol worshipper.’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘What is a ‘Mudmin’?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘He is one who drinks whenever he finds.’”
