The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1711 (#Ḥadīth #1)

Chapter 21 | The Messenger of Allah, O Allah , grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause , has Prohibited all Intoxicating Liquor of a Small or Large Quantity

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ كُلَيْبٍ الصَّيْدَاوِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Kulayb al-Saydawiy who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, addressed the people in which he (the Messenger of Allah) said, “Every intoxicating liquor is unlawful for consumption.’””
