Chapter 30 | AI-Fuqa’ (Beer)
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْمَاضِي ( عليه السلام ) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ فَقَالَ لَا تَقْرَبْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنَ الْخَمْرِ .
3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Husayn al-Qalanisiy who has said the following: “Once I asked abu al-Hassan, al-Madiy , in writing and asked about al-Fuqa ’ (beer). He (the Imam) wrote to me saying, ‘Do not go close to it; it is wine.’”
