The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1784 (#Ḥadīth #12)

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ مِثْلَهُ .مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا أَبِي يَحْيَى قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ وَ أَصِفُهُ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَا تَشْرَبْهُ فَأَعَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ كُلَّ ذَلِكَ أَصِفُهُ لَهُ كَيْفَ يُعْمَلُ فَقَالَ لَا تَشْرَبْهُ وَ لَا تُرَاجِعْنِي فِيهِ .

12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Bakr ibn Salih from Zakariya abu Yahya who has said the following: “I once wrote to abu al-Hassan , asked about al-Fuqa ’ and described it for him (the Imam) how it is made. He (the Imam) said, ‘Do not drink it and do not come back to me about it again.’”
