8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of his people who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , saying, ‘If one refrains from drinking wine for the sake of something other than Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, Allah will provide him drink from the sealed wine of the garden (paradises). He (the narrator) then said, ‘He does not refrain from it for the sake of Allah.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it is (just as I said it is) to protect his soul.’”
