Chapter 37 | Dice and Chess
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ الشِّطْرَنْجُ مِنَ الْبَاطِلِ .
4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Chess is of falsehood.’”
