The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1855 (#Ḥadīth #4)

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَمَّنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ إِذَا أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ بِنِعْمَةٍ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَرَاهَا عَلَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ .

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from the one who narrated to him who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘When Allah grants a bounty to His servant He loves to see it on him; He is beautiful and loves beauty.’”
