The Sufficient (Vol 6) · Hadith 1860 (#Ḥadīth #9)

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنِّي لَأَكْرَهُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ نِعْمَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ فَلَا يُظْهِرَهَا .

9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘I dislike to see a man who has received a bounty from Allah but does not show it."
