Chapter 2 | The Dress
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ لَبِسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الطَّاقَ وَ السَّاجَ وَ الْخَمَائِصَ .
2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn Salim from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from ‘Amr ibn Shamir from Jabir who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, dressed in al-Taq, (a certain garment) al-Saj (green pallium) and al-Khama’is (a black gown).”’
